The London School of English

The London School of English offers English programmes for adults, with a school setting in Holland Park Gardens. Its course range brings together general language development and more specialised professional communication. This makes it a useful option to explore for adult learners whose reasons for studying English extend from everyday confidence to workplace or sector-specific needs.

General and professional English

Published programmes include General English, Business and Professional English, and Legal English for learners aged 20 to 30. A cultural programme for students aged 50 and over provides another route for combining English study with a London experience. Each programme has a different focus, so the best choice depends on the language situations you expect to encounter.

Matching a course to your objectives

Professionals should discuss their role, current English level and communication priorities before choosing a programme. Learners considering the age-specific courses should confirm the relevant dates and eligibility. When comparing London English schools, consider the course’s participant profile and subject focus alongside its timetable, accommodation arrangements and overall duration.
