Scuola Romit Rome

Scuola Romit teaches Italian to international students on Via del Boschetto in Monti, Rome. Its location near Cavour station places it in a neighbourhood known for its small streets and connections with the historic centre. The school combines classroom language study with opportunities to explore Roman culture and meet other learners.

Italian for different schedules and goals

Romit’s programme includes intensive courses, evening study and individual lessons. The intensive option suits students who want language classes to form the centre of a stay in Rome, while evening classes provide a different rhythm for people with daytime commitments. Individual teaching can concentrate on a learner’s particular needs in grammar, reading, speaking or writing.

Examination preparation is available for Italian-language qualifications including CILS, CELI and PLIDA. The school also lists art-history study, connecting language with the cultural setting of the city. Examination-focused teaching and cultural courses serve different objectives, and students should choose the relevant format when discussing their programme.

A Monti study base

The school describes a student library and internet access, alongside social and cultural activities such as visits, meals and theatre outings. These activities offer ways to continue using Italian outside lessons, although the programme varies. When planning a course, consider both the class timetable and the time available for independent practice. Monti’s cafés, shops and nearby transport make everyday language encounters part of the surrounding study environment.
