Lutèce Langue Paris

Lutèce Langue is a French language school on rue Las Cases in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Its Left Bank setting is close to the Musée d’Orsay, Les Invalides and the Saint-Germain area. The school places particular emphasis on oral communication, using grammar and vocabulary as practical tools for exchanging ideas and dealing with everyday situations.

Small groups and flexible weekly schedules

The published on-site format uses groups of three to eight students. Its main intensive course provides 15 hours of lessons per week, while the standard option offers a lighter schedule for learners who meet its level requirements. Evening and Saturday courses provide alternatives for people combining French lessons with work or other studies. Private and semi-private tuition are also available.

The super-intensive programme combines group lessons with workshops and individual work. Thematic workshops address areas such as conversation, pronunciation and writing. These combinations allow students to concentrate on particular skills as well as follow a general language course.

A Left Bank base for French study

The school moved into its present premises in 2017. Solférino Métro and Musée d’Orsay RER provide useful transport connections. Placement involves written and oral assessment, with the final timetable depending on level and available space.

Complete beginners should check their designated start dates and suitable course formats. Some shorter courses and combinations require existing French, so selecting a timetable first and assuming every level is offered could limit the available choices.
