LCI Language School Montreal

LCI Language School Montreal, previously known as Languages Across Borders, is part of the LCI Education network. Its Montreal location is associated with LaSalle College on Sainte-Catherine Street West. The school offers French and English study in a bilingual city, with a range of course formats serving personal communication, academic and professional interests.

Courses around a learning goal

The Montreal programme includes academic, conversational, corporate, part-time and private language options. General French and General English give learners a base for everyday communication, while more focused study can address a particular context. The school also lists examination and university-preparation categories. Students should confirm the specific language, level and schedule of a course rather than assuming that every format runs at the same time.

Accommodation and a college setting

LCI describes homestay and student-house accommodation options for learners coming to Montreal. A host family can provide a household setting for daily language use, while a student residence offers a different degree of independence. The relationship with LaSalle College places language learning within a broader education environment, although admission to any further programme has separate requirements. When planning a stay, consider the intended language outcome, preferred class format and travel time between housing and Sainte-Catherine Street. These factors help distinguish a short conversational course from preparation for a longer period of study.
