International House Madrid

International House Madrid teaches languages at its campus on Calle Zurbano, near Alonso Martínez. Established in 1981, the school is part of the International House network. Its current campus information places teaching at this central Madrid address, with Metro services at Alonso Martínez and suburban rail connections at Recoletos offering different ways to reach classes.

Spanish and examination preparation

Spanish programmes include classroom courses, intensive study and preparation for official language examinations. Students can explore individual tuition as well as group learning, depending on the available programme. The school also provides Spanish teacher training and teaches other languages, including English, French and German. Learners choosing a Spanish course should confirm the level, schedule and format that apply to their dates, especially when planning study around work or another academic programme.

A campus with international student support

The Zurbano school provides classrooms and shared student facilities, including a library and cafeteria. International House Madrid supports visiting students with accommodation information covering residences, shared apartments and host families. Its cultural and social programme is intended to complement classroom work with opportunities to meet other learners and use the language beyond lessons. For students comparing Spanish schools in Madrid, the combination of a well-connected city location, examination options and practical support is worth considering alongside the weekly timetable. Accommodation and cultural activities are separate elements to review when planning the overall study stay.
