Hartnackschule Berlin

Hartnackschule Berlin is a private language school on Motzstraße in Schöneberg, near Nollendorfplatz. Its German teaching programme serves learners with a range of everyday, professional and examination-related aims. The school’s location provides a west-central Berlin base, with the surrounding neighbourhood and transport connections forming part of a practical daily study routine.

General and purpose-specific German

The school presents German courses across the A1 to C2 framework, alongside integration and professional language programmes. It also offers examination preparation and runs language examinations, including telc-related services. These routes have different eligibility rules and objectives, so prospective students should identify the programme that matches their circumstances.

Some courses are taught on site and others are available online. A listing in the course calendar does not automatically mean the class takes place at Motzstraße. For a language stay in Berlin, confirm the classroom format, dates and entry level before arranging travel or accommodation.

Practice beyond the core lessons

Hartnackschule’s language café provides a further opportunity for students to practise German, with sessions organised for different proficiency ranges. This can complement formal lessons through more conversational use of the language. The precise schedule should be checked against the student’s current level and course period.

When comparing this school, consider whether you need broad language development, German connected with a particular occupation or preparation for a specific certificate. The distinction helps avoid choosing a course solely by its level label. The Motzstraße campus is particularly relevant for learners seeking an established Schöneberg location with several German study pathways.
