DILIT International House Rome

DILIT International House is an Italian language school on Via Marghera, close to Roma Termini. Its location makes it a practical starting point for students arriving by train or travelling across the city during a longer stay. The school occupies a Liberty-style building and also uses nearby teaching space, forming one Rome school rather than separate branches.

Italian courses with different study intensities

The course selection includes general Italian in groups, individual tuition and combined programmes that bring the two formats together. Combined study can suit a learner who wants the interaction of a class alongside time devoted to particular language difficulties. The published programme also includes options connecting Italian with the culture and everyday life of Rome, including Discovering Rome.

DILIT distinguishes between entry dates for complete beginners and those for students who already know some Italian. That matters when arranging a short language holiday: an available travel week does not necessarily coincide with the appropriate beginner intake. Individual and small private-group formats provide further possibilities for learners with specific requirements.

A Termini-area study base

The Via Marghera setting places lessons near a major transport hub while keeping the school on a smaller street. Students can use their time outside class to explore different Roman neighbourhoods and practise ordinary interactions. When comparing programmes, consider the balance between group work, private lessons and cultural activities, and confirm which elements belong to the chosen course.
