Cape Studies

Cape Studies offers English language courses in Cape Town, with standard and intensive programmes across six language levels. The privately owned school was established in 1995. Its published range gives students a choice of study intensity while providing a starting point for learners at different stages of English development.

Standard and intensive English

When choosing between the two formats, consider how much time you want to devote to lessons and how much independent revision you can manage. Ask the school how students are placed within its level structure and what the weekly timetable looks like for each course. Your intended length of stay is another important part of that decision.

Planning a Cape Town language stay

Discuss whether your main aim is everyday communication, greater confidence or a foundation for a later learning goal. Confirm available start dates, included materials and any programme requirements. Review accommodation and the journey to classes as part of the full budget. Leaving time to use English during ordinary activities can complement the structured study in your chosen course.
