BLI Montreal

BLI Montreal is a French and English language school in a heritage building on Notre-Dame Street West. Its Old Montreal location is close to Notre-Dame Basilica and Place-d'Armes Metro station, giving students a distinctive historic setting for their language stay. The campus offers both of Canada's official languages, with a bilingual programme for learners who want to include French and English in their study plan.

Language courses and specialist study

The programme range includes General French, General English, evening study and private courses. Business French and Business English provide options for professional communication, while examination preparation includes TEF and TEFaQ. The school also lists programmes for specific purposes and academic pathways. Students should match the selected format to their current level and check the arrangements for any combination of languages.

Experiencing Old Montreal

The location gives learners access to the Old Port area and the streets surrounding the basilica after lessons. BLI's student services include accommodation arrangements, with host families and student residences among the options. These provide different opportunities for everyday language use and different journeys to the school. The campus is suitable to consider for a focused French course or a wider bilingual experience, with the final choice depending on study intensity, housing preferences and the amount of time available to explore Montreal outside the classroom.
