Berlitz Singapore

Berlitz Singapore provides face-to-face language training at Ngee Ann City Tower B on Orchard Road. The centre is on the sixteenth floor, with Orchard MRT serving the surrounding shopping and business district. For students seeking English lessons in Singapore, its main in-person options include private instruction and semi-private study.

Spoken English with a practical focus

The English speaking course is designed for adults who understand some English and want more practice expressing themselves. Activities described by the school include conversations, role plays, presentations and pronunciation work. Lessons are taught in English, giving learners repeated opportunities to listen and respond during class.

Private tuition offers individual attention, while the semi-private format creates opportunities to practise with other learners in a small personalised group. Students can discuss their existing ability and the situations they need English for, such as everyday interactions, study or communication at work. The centre also offers other languages, although this profile highlights its verified English programmes.

Planning lessons on Orchard Road

The teaching centre publishes weekday and Saturday class hours, which can be helpful for learners balancing a course with other commitments. Exact lesson times depend on the programme arranged. When comparing English courses, clarify the number of teaching units, the intended communication goals and whether the proposed schedule is fully in person. The Ngee Ann City address distinguishes this physical campus from Berlitz’s separate online learning options.
