Avenida al Español Málaga

Avenida al Español organises its Málaga teaching around a sequence of modules from beginner Spanish through C1. The campus is in the Oficinas Jábega on Calle Compositor Lehmberg Ruiz in the city centre. The school is associated with Academia Avenida Andalucía, a name students may see when locating the premises.

Working towards a specific level

Each module has its own communication objectives, grammar and vocabulary. Students work on spoken and written interaction along with reading and listening comprehension. The school allocates forty hours to a module, and a single proficiency level spans more than one module. For example, its B2 stage is divided into four parts. This makes the module number a useful detail for someone seeking to resume a course after previous study.

Longer study and DELE preparation

The extended B2 route starts with beginner material, includes a review of A1 and A2 foundations and continues through the upper-intermediate modules to examination preparation. The longer C1 route adds advanced modules and preparation for the higher-level diploma.

Separate DELE preparation is available at B1, B2 and C1. Students deciding between a full pathway and a preparation course should compare the language they have already covered with the published module objectives. The two routes make different demands on the time spent in Málaga.
