Alliance Française Dubai Oud Metha

Alliance Française Dubai’s Oud Metha centre is located on Street 18. It brings French-language teaching together with a cultural programme and library resources. This listing covers Oud Metha, rather than the organisation’s separate Dubai Knowledge Park branch.

French courses for different ages and levels

The centre offers group classes and private tuition for adults, children and teenagers. Programmes range from beginner to advanced study, with schedules that include evening, weekend and intensive formats. Learners who already know some French normally complete placement assessment so that they can join an appropriate level.

Examination preparation is another part of the offering. Alliance Française Dubai administers French-language qualifications and tests, but a preparation course and an examination booking are separate choices. Students should select the relevant qualification according to their purpose and confirm the current session and location.

French culture beyond lessons

The Oud Metha centre includes a library and spaces associated with film, theatre and other cultural events. The wider programme features screenings, performances, exhibitions and workshops, providing ways to engage with French and Francophone culture outside a classroom.

Course membership arrangements can include library benefits, while individual events may require separate booking. When planning French study in Dubai, compare the course timetable with the cultural opportunities you would actually use. Confirm the teaching branch as well, particularly if choosing a class from the organisation’s combined programme listings.
