First Business School in South Africa to Accept Bitcoin
The business school Red & Yellow, in South Africa has announced it will be accepting Bitcoin payments for tuition fees of its degrees, advanced diplomas, certificates and online courses.
“The world is changing rapidly, as are our students and it’s our responsibility to ensure we are serving their future focused needs” said Rob Stokes, the school’s chairman.
“The reality is that Bitcoin is here to stay and with many youngsters having made a good return on their investment in cryptocurrencies, they now want to use this digital cash to invest in their education, as future leaders.”
The business school believes cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin are “here to stay and their adoption will only increase”.
Red & Yellow believes creative thinking is the most important skill for the 21st century. The business school offers a BA degree in Visual Communication as well as a variety of advanced diploma and certificate programs.
