EF International Language Campus Cambridge

EF’s Cambridge language campus is at 221 Hills Road in a renovated Victorian building. The school combines classrooms equipped for language learning with an enclosed garden and a courtyard with table tennis. Shops and cafés are within walking distance. The address is important when comparing Cambridge programmes from EF, since a student booking accommodation or arranging a daily journey will want the campus for their particular course.

Matching lessons to a Cambridge stay

The campus describes weekly timetables of twenty, twenty-six or thirty-two lessons. General and intensive English are among the choices. The number of lessons is a useful first comparison for someone deciding how much time to leave for independent activities in Cambridge. EF also describes a placement assessment and a course certificate, giving learners a starting point for discussing their progress.

Accommodation arrangements vary. The local course information describes Bridge House, a self-catering residence for adults, and Orchard House, with a different minimum age and room arrangement. Homestay is another option. Students comparing a package with a residence stay can check the room, meals and journey included in their chosen arrangement. These details can make a significant difference to how a week on Hills Road fits around the English timetable.
