Aiwa Language Institute Fukuoka

Aiwa Language Institute is a Japanese language school in Maidashi, in Fukuoka's Higashi ward. Its course structure accommodates students preparing for further education and learners who already have an appropriate status of residence. The teaching campus is within walking distance of Yoshizuka Station and Maidashi-Kyudai-Byoin-mae subway station.

Preparatory and general Japanese courses

The preparatory programme has April, July and October entry points, with study periods varying according to the intake. Published entry conditions include previous school education and an existing foundation in Japanese. Students considering this route should match their academic plans with the application calendar, since an earlier start provides a longer period of language study.

The general course is available to eligible learners living in Japan or arriving with a suitable residence status. Aiwa checks language ability and study objectives before assigning a class. Entry depends on a suitable place being available. Classes run on weekdays, with morning and afternoon sessions within the school's timetable.

Planning a stay in Maidashi

Aiwa also describes apartment-style and dormitory-style student accommodation. Housing arrangements are worth discussing early because they affect travel to class and the overall cost of a stay. The location offers access to both JR services and the city subway. For learners comparing Japanese schools in Fukuoka, the main decision is which Aiwa programme fits their existing Japanese, education history and intended length of study.
