EF International Language Campus Rome

EF International Language Campus Rome is based on Via del Teatro Valle in the historic centre. It offers Italian-language study within EF’s international school network, with both shorter language stays and extended programmes. The central setting gives students a direct connection with Roman streets, cultural sites and everyday city life.

Several levels of weekly intensity

The published course range includes basic, general and intensive study, with different weekly lesson totals. This allows learners to choose how much of their stay to devote to scheduled instruction. EF also offers academic-semester and academic-year options for those seeking a longer period of language immersion.

The school describes placement and progress assessment as part of its approach. These help organise learning around a student’s starting point rather than assuming that all arrivals follow the same level. The appropriate programme depends on the desired duration, weekly workload and balance between classroom study and independent exploration.

Campus and accommodation planning

Facilities described for Rome include teaching rooms, a library and a student lounge. Homestay arrangements appear among the accommodation options, offering a different experience from simply attending daytime lessons. Students should compare the accommodation and meal arrangements attached to the programme they select.

The Via del Teatro Valle address provides a historic-centre base for studying Italian in Rome. When considering a longer stay, look at the full programme structure, accommodation location and daily journey together, as these shape the practical experience beyond the classroom.
