Etoile Institut Paris

Etoile Institut is a French language school on boulevard Raspail in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Le Bon Marché. Its programmes range from general language learning to preparation for further study in France. The school’s approach emphasises active participation and the development of both spoken and written French.

Understand the course format

General French is available in standard and intensive versions. The standard programme includes 15 hours of classroom tuition each week. The intensive version adds independent work on the school’s online platform, so its additional hours should not be confused with extra face-to-face teaching. Morning or afternoon placement depends on the learner’s language level.

Students can also consider combined tuition, super-intensive study and a pathway programme for higher education. A separate preparatory option addresses the language and methodological skills associated with entering French universities and grandes écoles. Entry requirements and objectives differ across these routes.

Study and culture on the Left Bank

The boulevard Raspail location offers a central base for exploring Paris alongside language study. Etoile also publishes seasonal combinations such as French and photography, organised with a specialist photography school. These take place on specific dates and involve a separate workshop location.

For general courses, beginners have designated starting dates while other students may have more flexible entry. Before choosing a programme, confirm the classroom schedule, independent-study component and any level required for the specialist option.
