About the school
ACCORD Paris is a French language school in the 15th arrondissement, close to the Champ de Mars and Eiffel Tower. Founded in 1988, it teaches international learners aged 16 and above throughout the year. The current school and examination centre are on rue Jean-Pierre Bloch, following the move from the Grands Boulevards area in 2021.
French courses with different levels of intensity
The programme range includes semi-intensive, intensive and super-intensive French, giving students a choice over how much of their week to devote to lessons. More focused options cover oral communication, grammar and writing, and French culture and civilisation. ACCORD also lists DELF and DALF preparation, Business French and a French and Law programme. These specialist routes are worth comparing carefully with general language study when a qualification or professional objective is the main reason for travelling.
Learning in the Eiffel Tower neighbourhood
The air-conditioned premises place students near museums, the Seine and the gardens of the Champ de Mars. La Motte-Picquet–Grenelle and Dupleix are among the nearby Métro stations. The school offers accommodation assistance and can arrange programmes for school and university groups.
For a useful comparison, look at the actual weekly teaching hours for the selected course rather than its intensive label alone. Students planning examination preparation should also confirm their starting level, preparation schedule and the separate examination arrangements.
