Your privacy

This page describes how this first version of StudyDestinations.com handles information. Last updated: 25 October 2026.

Saved schools and profile drafts

Your shortlist and initial drafts made with the website importer are stored in your browser on your device. These local drafts are not sent to us until you bring them into your school account and save them there. Saving an account profile does not publish it. You can remove saved schools using their heart buttons. Clear this website’s browser storage to remove all local drafts and saved schools.

The website importer

When you use the school website importer, the address you enter is sent to our server so it can request that public webpage and return its name and description. Import results are not saved as a listing. Do not enter private, password-protected or sensitive URLs. We temporarily use a hashed network identifier to limit excessive requests.

Technical information and external websites

Our hosting and security services may process technical access records, including IP addresses and request times, to deliver and protect the website. Links to school websites open services operated by those schools, whose own privacy and booking policies apply.

We have not added advertising trackers or analytics to this launch version. If you create a school account, we store your email address and account details to provide sign-in, password recovery and account management. Passwords are stored as protected hashes. Essential cookies keep you signed in. School profiles saved to an account are stored privately and can be accessed by that account and site administrators. When you request website research, we fetch a limited selection of public pages from the institution’s website and prepare editable source notes. The first draft stays on your device until you save it to your account. Submitting a profile sends its saved details to our administrators for review. Review notes appear in your account; they are not currently emailed. Our team checks school details and representation before publication. Submission does not automatically publish a listing. Payments are not yet open.
